We have a room in the basement where my dad once in the 70s slapped on fiberglass fabric and then painted. Now we probably have moisture in the walls, and the fabric MUST be removed so we can dry and sanitize properly.
But how do you remove the fabric?
It is then a plastered wall, try applying a small section with a layer of slightly thicker wallpaper paste and cover with a layer of cling film so it doesn't dry out, it softens the paint and glue, can take a day but the plaster remains intact.
