Remove bark from tree logs in the best way??

Ordinary bark spade? Can be difficult to get them to stay still?

I have laid a simpler floor in my barn for firewood from some of the logs, then the idea was to save some as timber for the barn to replace some old planks, etc., good to have timber to some extent. But most will become firewood; the whole batch only cost 700 kr. But some of them are really nice timber worth debarking; I also thought about maybe building a simpler roof for an outdoor wood storage space.

Sorry for reviving the thread... but where did you get the bakar? (I see that you also live in Stockholm.) We're considering building paneling in our guest room that gives the impression of a log cabin, and bakar would work very well since they don't take up much space.
