Hello.

I have cast a wooden floor structure with EPS cement. On top of this, there will be about 40 mm of self-leveling compound. This is what will be the load-bearing layer since the EPS lies between the joists. Is it wrong to place regular reinforcement over the joists (either 6 mm mesh or rods crossed over the joists) and then level the floor? Other options?

I have used regular reinforcement mesh 20*20 when I did as you are going to do.
