I am going to divide a room in the basement into two, so I need to build a partition wall.
One room will be a hallway and the other a storage closet. (The storage closet might possibly become a bathroom in the future)
I'm considering using steel studs, mineral wool, and drywall.

Do you think I should settle for regular drywall or should I use moisture-resistant drywall to minimize the risk of mold?

Usually, if you have a concrete floor, leave a 5-10 mm gap to the concrete.
