Reduce noise when building an interior wall

There should be a TV behind this wall. I'm about to put up drywall but I'm wondering if I would get any additional soundproofing if I stuff insulation between the studs and the wall. Or should I cut some studs and press them in between the wall and the plastic?

At the stage you're at now, it's best to frame with insulation. The sound is better dampened by loosely packed insulation, so don't press too much in.
