I have plans to make modifications to a load-bearing wall in a condominium and would need a structural engineer to investigate what I can/cannot do, create drawings for the construction company/city planning office/board, etc.
Can anyone recommend someone in the Gothenburg area?

Oh, it seems like there is a shortage of designers in Gothenburg.

As there was a resounding silence, I will rephrase the question a bit; is there anyone who can give tips on how/where you can get in touch with a designer at all?
The firms I've contacted seem to avoid individual small jobs.

I thank everyone for the responses so far!
I also submitted a request on BraByggare and got in touch with Jarmo at Jarli Consulting. He has been on site and inspected, etc., and we are now discussing how to proceed.
I'll return with a new thread when the actual work, etc., begins.

Update! The initial plan is to begin the actual construction/demolition in November-December, and have everything completed before the end of the year.

We ended up demolishing a total of 4+3 meters of 25 cm thick lightweight concrete wall, and also opened a 210x80 cm hole in a 25 cm thick brick wall. The demolition work, including the removal of about 3 tons of material, took 3 days for 4 men and cost about 40,000 SEK (before ROT). I ordered the steel for the beam/column from a mechanical workshop and installed it myself; it cost about 5,000 SEK. Our engineer charged about 5,000 SEK for the calculation/design/drawings of the construction.Minibygge said:
However, this isn't really what you are going to do; concrete requires completely different conditions than lightweight concrete/brick. How large a doorway are you planning to make, and do you know what kind of beam, etc., you need to install above the doorway?
A standard 21x10 door opening in 15cm concrete lands around 10,000:- depending on where in the country it is.
I make such an opening myself in 8 hours, including the removal of concrete and cleaning.

That sounds like a much larger project than mine. I'm envisioning an approximately 210*80 cm door opening in the concrete wall and I don't know yet if a beam is needed above the opening. I would need to find an engineer in the Stockholm area who can come and inspect the concrete wall and make calculations/drawings for the construction. Any tips are welcome!
