Hello,
I have a corner wall that needs to be covered with a moulding, what do you think I should use or which looks better, a quarter round or a cove crown moulding?
I will paint the moulding the same color as the wall.

Thank you in advance

Is it up towards the ceiling or down towards the floor?
Or is it just against two wall surfaces?
What does the rest of the wall look like?

Perhaps you could post a picture of the "elände"?

Matter of taste, I say. Choose what you like best and that can be nicely connected to any ceiling and floor molding.

There are 2 wall surfaces, where one side is plywood or similar.
Furthest to the left in the picture.
Will put a small molding at the top of the closet.
Open wardrobe with light plywood walls, two sections, upper cabinet doors ajar, black bin inside, awaiting an upper molding installation.

Sneaky list usually works well.
Quarter strip can also fit.
Paint the strip the same color as the cabinet.

The thing is that the molding must cover 2cm on both sides of the wall because it is uneven etc. at the corners.

Any list will do.

But we can turn the question around:
What do you yourself think would be nice? Choose that! It is your home :)

I was mostly thinking if there were any rules, e.g. that you absolutely shouldn't use crown molding coving on walls, only on ceilings, etc.

I have now bought crown molding coving and started painting it, we'll see if it turns out well :-)

Edit:
I forgot to wash the moldings before painting, I painted directly with the wall paint, hope it will work, feel free to comment if something might go wrong or if there's anything I can do now after it has dried.

Thanks for all the help

There are probably no issues with painting directly.
"Målartvätt" is mainly for washing away greasy deposits on wood that has been up for a long time.

And I think hålkäl is a good choice. It will look fantastic!

The first coat looked okay, but after the second coat it looked worse. The paint didn't adhere as well, it was like painting with goo.

Will try again with a third coat to see if it improves later.
