Hello! I've been searching in vain and can't seem to find anything else, either I've got a brilliant idea or it's so obviously idiotic that no one has even tried it.
I've thought about setting up a shelf using multiple brackets to achieve more "hidden" supports. I'm thinking of brackets of this type (https://www.bauhaus.se/vinkel-joma-3x160x50x40mm#go-to-description). The idea is for the shelf to be about 150 cm long and 20 cm deep, and there will probably be quite a few books and similar items on it, so it will likely bear some weight. However, the wall is concrete, so it seems intuitively like there shouldn't be any problem with the right screws.
Thanks for the help!

Hi,
Not exactly what you're looking for, but maybe something like this could work...

Thank you, I understand that there will be a lever arm effect and that's why I'm trying to figure out if it would work. I imagine that a fairly long screw with a plug in a concrete wall should be able to handle it, or am I wrong? Would it work with an angle bracket that has equally long sides, perhaps one that is 90x90 mm?
Kan själv!

I would go for something like that, installed them in a concrete wall in the previous residence.

Attaching the bracket to the wall is not a big problem if it's concrete. Also thinking about the stability of the bracket itself. It can be solved with more brackets or by choosing one with reinforcement. If you attach the bracket with only the large hole in the middle, you can calculate that 1 kg at the shelf edge becomes about 8 kg on the screw/plug.B Bygg_pojken said:Thank you, I understand that there will be a lever effect, and that is why I'm trying to figure out if it would work. Reasonable. Thanks for the help! It will probably be a bit too much work to drill four holes per angle and use 4-5 angles. It will probably be easier to use one of the other solutions. Thanks for all the answers!
