Wondering if anyone knows of any software or program that can help optimize molding?
For example, if I need a molding A 505mm, B 1080mm, C 2214mm, etc., and the molding comes in lengths of 3200/4000, etc., it would be fantastic if there were a tool to distribute the pieces optimally and avoid too much waste (and joints). I need to order all the molding for an entire floor, so there will be many pieces...

Available as a website and app, you list the material and what pieces you want and can choose saw blade width etc. It's really for panels but you can make the material any shape you want so it works for moldings as well.
