Living in a multi-family house (condominium) where the external stairs were renovated this summer, asked the board if they think it was professionally done, waiting for an answer. Personally, I find the stairs at our entrance a bit awkward to walk on, but maybe I'm being a bit picky. The step heights are from the top 13 cm, 16 cm, 13 cm, 16 cm, 17 cm, and a lower step at the bottom. Some steps tilt about 10 mm. There might be a millimeter error in the measurements. Curious to hear what you think.

I would never have paid for that! Really clumsy in my opinion!!!

The steps should tilt slightly outward for water drainage - but the difference of so many cm between the steps must really be noticeable when walking, making the staircase downright dangerous to use.

Stairs should actually slope a bit for it to feel good to walk on them, but having step height vary by +/- 4 cm sounds both impractical and dangerous. Did they make a new staircase? Or renovate an old one? How was it before in that case?
But generally, you can't have it like that.

I understand that the stairs lean outward, but I cannot accept that the steps lean sideways, which is also visible in the picture. The old stairs had the same step height before part of it was removed and new concrete and stones were added. I experienced the work as amateurish with "hobby machines" for chiseling and no real tools for the casting.

I would probably say that it is also one step too many. If you add up the measurements, it becomes a 75cm staircase height, and if you divide that by 5 steps, each step should have a step height of 15cm, which is far too low. A staircase should have a step height of about 18cm to be comfortable to walk in. In this case, it would be 18.75.

To keep it brief. Try again, do it right...

The most incomprehensible thing is probably that there is such a big difference in the step height between the stairs if it was the same step height before the renovation. That's likely what contributes greatly to the stairs feeling odd to walk in, and not the step height itself. Have more staircases been renovated, and if so, is there the same difference in step height in these? That a step tilts slightly outward is not unusual, but a lateral tilt is hardly something that one aims for.
