We are building a timber frame house and have now taped the plastic together to make it completely airtight. We have used Paroc's tape (red/white) which is supposed to be age-resistant. We have taped over 1 kilometer of tape in the house and turned on the heat. A day after we turned on the heat, we see that the tape in several places is peeling off and sliding on the plastic.
Is there anyone else experiencing issues with tape not adhering properly to the plastic?

Paroc's plast 012 according to their recommendations.
I have used etabs green tape and it is completely hopeless to remove if you tape incorrectly!
There wasn't a lot of construction dust on the plastic when you taped?
Etabs tape was supposed to be pressed for the best result, it said.

take this with paroc. some warranty should be available
We have about 30 degrees indoors to dry out the house. The tape should withstand up to about 80 degrees.
No construction dust on the plastic. 012 is not static, so it doesn't attract dust.

When we taped, we removed the protective plastic simultaneously as we taped. That is, one person removes the protective plastic, and the other presses the tape down. It's completely impossible to remove the protective plastic in advance since it is very sticky and sticks to fingers, and it's easy for the tape to attach incorrectly when we try to tape entire wall sides without interruptions in the tape.

How much work will it be to take down the tape, will the plastic hold up? This could become a really tedious job.Rosenbyggare said:

So I had to start over with the more expensive Etab flexible building foil tape (green), which was a success. The tape also adheres to concrete, etc.
If I remember correctly, I've read that T-Flex is often recommended, which is also a green flexible tape that adheres really well.
With such large volumes as you need, there are probably other places to get it from.

I have used Tesa's tape and it wouldn't come off even if the house collapsed.
I made the mistake of taping up a sheet as a temporary curtain for a window, and some paint and a little plaster came off the wall and it was completely impossible to remove the tape from the sheet.
Could be something wrong with the plastic too, too much oil or something...
