Did the job a few months ago, two men in two days excluding surface finish. The house was 14x8m. We did it from the inside, so it required either a 15 cm floor trim or re-wallpapering. In that case, the customer was going to change the surface finish anyway, so it was not a problem.

Can't it start to smell something awful if the imp. syllables get damp?

I seem to remember reading about it (might remember wrong) :o

Interesting! Do you have a brick house? Our house is slightly larger, 200 m2, and we spoke with a company that suggested the outer sills can be removed from the outside, by removing 2 rows of bricks, replacing the sill, and then putting the bricks back. It would cost about 100k for the entire work and with minimal impact on the rest of the house. (Worse with the inner wall sill, though, but we've accounted for that cost too:) ) What did your work cost? Edit: just saw that you did the job for a customer :)

I see you're from Värmland too, you might have a job on Hammarö in the near future ;)

The sill replacement was done as part of a larger job in Råtorp, but it could also be done as a standalone project. The house is a Mexican brick house. The sill replacement cost about 50000:-.

I think there are some pictures on villalipkin.se or on Instagram.

Oh, how fun, I actually follow that project a little bit but had missed the part with the floor, so I went in and caught up now! (My sister-in-law bought their previous house in Råtorp - what a small world sometimes.) I just have to ask one thing, did they have impregnated sill even in the interior walls or was it just the exterior walls?
Thank you so much for your answers, I will definitely keep you in mind for the future!

It was only in the outer wall, just impregnated syll.
