Anyone have good tips on how to attach a 70mm pressure-treated post to a concrete slab? I've looked for "stolpskor" and the closest I could find was Jabo Öckerö, which looked nice but didn't have the inner measurement of 70mm.... I'm going to put a glass roof on the patio and would like wooden posts. The alternative is some other posts, but the glass is bought for 70mm posts, so a suitable solution needs to be fixed. It's only 7 posts, so some complicated solution is probably okay. I was thinking about buying these shoes and milling the end so it fits in the stolpsko. But that weakens the post, so I don't know if that's such a good idea.

What are the inner dimensions of the mount you are linking to?

It's about 60mm

No problem with the strength if you mill down your 70 to 60, 5 mm on each side. They should stand with support at the top, to not fall sideways. The strength lies in the pressure from above and it is significant.
