I have had galvanized sheet metal (Stockholms Galvaniseringsfabrik) lying on the property for about 20 years. They are completely flawless. They must also have been painted with lead primer.... What durability
Now I'm thinking of taking some for a shed, but I want to seal the old screw holes. I thought about using pop rivets (blind rivets? - all the words I've learned no longer apply?! like Umbrako etc.)
Anyway, does anyone know if the galvanizing will corrode the rivets? Which metals can you actually mix? Isn't there a list or something similar?

Aluminum is probably not the best choice.
Aluminum is less noble than zinc and will therefore disappear.
There are more noble rivets to buy.
