Hello everyone,

I have had galvanized sheet metal (Stockholms Galvaniseringsfabrik) lying on the property for about 20 years. They are completely flawless. They must also have been painted with lead primer.... What durability :D

Now I'm thinking of taking some for a shed, but I want to seal the old screw holes. I thought about using pop rivets (blind rivets? - all the words I've learned no longer apply?! like Umbrako etc.)

Anyway, does anyone know if the galvanizing will corrode the rivets? Which metals can you actually mix? Isn't there a list or something similar?

Aluminum is probably not the best choice.
Aluminum is less noble than zinc and will therefore disappear.
There are more noble rivets to buy.
