Hello
I have torn down the ceiling (gypsum) in the hallway on the ground floor.
There is plastic stapled in the nail batten where the ceiling was attached, why has this been done, it is not sealed where the VP pipes go through.
I will install spotlights in the ceiling and will need to make holes in the plastic where each spotlight will be placed.
So why is the plastic there?
The house is a split-level house from the '90s
