I will be plastering drywall on the ceiling and walls in rooms with slanted ceilings. I thought I’d check with you if I’ve got everything right :)!

In the joints, I apply one layer of plaster. Glue a paper tape and then plaster and sand etc. until the surface is smooth and nice.

Then I heard a carpenter say that the joint/gap between the ceiling drywall and the wall should be filled with acrylic caulk, not plaster.

Is everything correct if I go with this?
What do you think about Microlit - is it necessary?
Is it complicated and does it take a long time to install?

I usually start with joint tape (not paper, but fiberglass) and I often use extra glue with fabric glue even if they are pre-pasted. Then I fill and sand this.

Joints between the ceiling and wall tend to move, so acrylic sealant is better than trying to make a "fixed" joint.
