Are there wall panels that shouldn't be used with gypsum plaster?
I'm planning to renovate the hallway and I don't know yet what type of wall panels are under the wallpaper. I've heard a lot of good things about gypsum plaster but have no experience with it. I hope to achieve a fairly coarse plastered look, I'm guessing I should use a brush as a finishing touch?
I plan to start with the wall by the door since it's the one that will be the least visible once the decor is up, so it's not a big deal if it doesn't turn out perfect.
Since I'm a complete novice in the subject, I gratefully welcome all tips and advice!
I don't know if there are differences between various gypsum brands in price and quality, but when I've looked around a bit online at the stores in the area (Kristianstad) it seems that neither Byggmax nor Cheapy sell this material, but it should be available at Optimera and probably also at Woddy - although the latter was almost ridiculously expensive when I was there last for a different matter (4 times the price at Cheapy for quite similar material...).
