Plaster with adhesive

I am going to plaster the basement wall on the inside, can I use Weber Multi set 610? I have a couple of such bags left over. Can I paint on it?

Yes, but it can be difficult to get a nice surface because the adhesive is extra sticky. However, if you scrape it, it might work, but it can still be difficult because the adhesive is meant to adhere to tiles and will dry differently than regular plaster. An alternative is to use the adhesive with a notched trowel and apply a plaster mix to fill the final layer after the adhesive has dried.
