Plaster on a wooden wall, is it possible?

Hello!
We are renovating a summer cottage. The original part is brick and the extension is wood.
We have plastered the interior walls with plaster mortar and would like it to continue into the extension for a uniform look. Is it possible to plaster on wood and how do we proceed to do that?
Attached are pictures of how the wood walls look when we started tearing them down.
