Hi,
I'm considering whether to choose planed or brushed interior paneling for the ceiling in a holiday house (smooth tongue and groove 15x118). The panel is going to be painted white. Does anyone have experience with the differences, impressions, or perceptions of these two options?

I chose brushed smooth tongue and groove from Norrlandsträ for the ceiling in my vacation home. It suited me best since I wanted a bit of texture on the surface, but as usual, tastes differ. I think you'll be satisfied regardless. Good luck!

Thank you! I'm somewhat along the same lines as you regarding "texture in the ceiling". May I ask: Did you choose white-painted or superlacquer?

Thanks for the reply!

Brushed panel is "matte," planed panel is "shiny." It's the feeling you want to achieve that decides.
