Pictures of cast concrete slab for coffee table, traces of reinforcement?
The squares after the rebar are clearly visible on the surface... I assume it's because the rebar has sunk too close to the surface, but the question is whether this will become more or less noticeable if you grind the surface a bit?
Does anyone have a bit more knowledge about this or tips on a solution? I would prefer not to paint or cover the surface...

Hello!
No answer to your question, but feel free to describe how you've achieved such a nice surface.

It is only two days old. I have also been considering that it burned at different rates, but I know that the rebar sank to about half a centimeter from the bottom. I believe this was due to the concrete being too loose. However, I have little experience with concrete casting, so I'm not sure if this is a normal appearance for the time it has been curing.
I have watered the surface a bit to make it stand out more clearly, but the surface was incredibly smooth directly from the form plywood. With a little oil, the surface would look great if only the marks from the rebar would disappear...
