Hello!

I know that the strength is better in beams such as 45x145. But I think these dimensions look nice. I will have bracing in all directions of 95x95. The wood is pressure-treated NTRA from Optimera.

What are your spontaneous thoughts? The longest span between the posts is 3.5 meters. Will it flex?

I will use Pondus wood construction screws.

I will have a hanging swing mounted on the slats, which will be 45x170.

In the picture, there are clamps on 45x170, where there should instead be 95x95 posts lying down.

It's no problem, but why pressure-treated wood? Are you going to paint?

Thanks for the reply! Thinking it lasts longer and untreated wood is more likely to warp. Possibly paint in a year or so.

A tall tale! Tryckat is more moisture-resistant and intended primarily for structures near the ground. For a pergola, I use non-tryckat and paint.
