To and from the pool, it's quite normal to use PEM. Up to the heat pump, it's beneficial to be able to glue PVC pipe (obviously with some type of union coupling); some installations also have PEM to the heat pump.
It all depends on how the equipment is positioned relative to each other. Close? Far away?

It will be between 10-15m between the pool's technical room and the heat pump. What dimension is appropriate for the hose? Someone said 50mm, seems a lot.Krilleman said:

Go with 50, you don't want less at those distances. I have 50mm myself, and everything is 3m behind the pool.J JF. said:
Check with companies that sell equipment for garden ponds; these are usually the same items pool companies sell but at a different price!
I would have gone for 50mm or 63mm PEM pipe in the ground and PVC above ground. The main reason to choose PEM is the cost. If you buy PEM pipe in a roll, it tends to want to curve a bit, so it's neater with PVC pipes where the pipe is visible. I would assume that glued PVC joints are cheaper than PEM fittings. There is PEM pipe available in straight 6m lengths, but it's a bit less common.
