Hello everyone!

We bought a house here during the winter with a pretty nice patio =)

However, I think the patio is built too close to the building itself, which means that debris accumulates that can't really be reached to remove. This also causes some moisture build-up, I suspect. Additionally, we want to repaint the house this summer and you can't reach here then.

What can be done? On one side, I suppose you can simply rip up the innermost plank. But on the other side, would you need to saw or something? But how do you do it? What should you consider? Any specific type of saw you should/can use?

the timber is starting to look a bit stubborn. maybe replace it instead of just cutting it off
