Painting/hiding gray pipe insulation in the basement.
Hello.
I have removed all the insulation around the water pipes due to the renovation of the water pipes. A decontamination company removed all the insulation because of asbestos.
The new insulation is gray.
I want it in white.
Is it possible to just paint over the gray, what kind of paint should I use, or do you have any other suggestions?

As far as I remember, there are white covers for pipe insulation?

I was thinking of something similar to pipe insulation available at biltema and bauhaus.

Okay. but the pipe insulation won't lose its function if you paint it, will it?
