Planning an exterior wall for my upcoming extension.
From the outside:
21mm+21mm shiplap
28mm nail panel
wind barrier
195mm vertical wooden stud
45mm horizontal wooden stud to break thermal bridges and run electricity ???
12mm OSB
13mm gypsum
What I'm considering is using a 70mm vertical steel stud instead of a 45mm horizontal wooden stud, but then you attach it with tracks on the floor and ceiling, so it kind of hangs freely from the rest of the stud framework. However, maybe the framework won't be as rigid as with the traditional crossed studs—does that matter?
Any opinions, other options/angles?

I think it looks like an excellent wall, option 1 that is..!
Except for one thing - PLASTIC - between 195 standing and 45 lying - but I think you intended that too but forgot to write it.!! And I would have chosen a windproof fabric instead of paper, but maybe you meant that too.!
