We need to replace our exterior stairs from the driveway to the yard, it's about 2-2.5 meters high and we want a modern staircase that is also practical. The one we have today has wooden steps and becomes extremely slippery in the winter. We are thinking of a stringer staircase, "floating" steps coming out from the concrete wall that the staircase can go along, or another type of staircase in metal/steel material. Does anyone have tips on where to buy ready-made parts, stringers, steps or custom order sizes? Most I have found only have outdoor spiral staircases or in wood. I would gladly welcome suggestions on other materials we can use, which are practical throughout the whole year.
