Outdoor stairs in wood composite

Hi!
It's high time to renovate our outdoor stairs and I would like them to be in wood or wood-like material. I am interested in wood composite to reduce maintenance needs, it looks nice and perhaps one can use heating cables in the hollow spaces?
Question 1. Does anyone have or has anyone seen a complete staircase in wood composite including handrails and stringers similar to our current one?
Question 2. Does anyone have experience with using heating cables in wood composite? The wood composite should withstand extreme temperatures, so it should work, right?
