I have a shed where I keep my motorcycles, and I am going to move that shed now, which means I also need to build a better ramp to the door.
The old ramp was made of wood, and it can become very slippery, which both makes it easy to spin the rear wheel when driving in and easy to slip when putting your foot down. With over 300 kg (I would guess 330 kg as mine is equipped/loaded when it has a full tank) of motorcycle to hold up, it's good not to slip around.
The new ramp will also be made of wood, but I want better anti-slip protection. Normally, I would just use expanded metal, but it's really only anti-slip in one direction and is very slippery in the other direction.
Grooved decking has the same problem as expanded metal.
Anti-slip tape does not hold well outdoors.
