Hi! Not sure if this is the right thread to bring this up, but I'll take a chance and hope for advice.
I have an outdoor cellar under the house with an entrance on one gable. Then there's a stone wall five meters to the next cellar that has an entrance/exit in the house. It's an older house from the early 1900s, so they built it like that before refrigerators and freezers existed. The outdoor cellar is cast with large stone blocks and bricks. About 25 years ago, the stones started to fall inward, so I had a 70 cm wide, 3 m long, and 1 m high rim cast, and I reinforced a little here and there. But now it has started to move again. So the question is, can you shovel sand into the entire cellar to prevent collapse or can you even spray/fill sand with some machine? It would be quite a hassle to shovel sand in when there's no window.
Or should I continue casting all the time to strengthen it. Thankful for an answer.
