Ordered (the same) gravel in two batches - got completely (!) different colors

Hi, I could use your advice. I've bought (the same type of) gravel from Snabbgrus on two occasions a couple of weeks apart. The color was completely different. They claim that this can happen as it's a "natural product" (see attached email). I'm not really sure what to believe. Maybe they're right?

Just by looking at how a mountain looks, varying.

So either mix everything up or top with new if you want to make it "even"

They are absolutely right.
It is also not something they are secretive about as it is clearly stated in the information text about the product.

Thank you. Guess the lesson is to order everything at once.... now I have to mix black/white with mkt kvarts with the red... not exactly so nice.... can't apply thicker layers, then it's not possible to drive on....
