Orbital sander or articulated sanding tool with handle for sanding putty on plaster ceiling?
I am in the process of plastering the drywall joints in the ceiling and just now my old orbital sander died on the first sanding. My first thought was to buy a new one, but I read on some thread that an articulated sanding tool is easier and faster. It's only the joints in the ceiling in a room of 15-20 sqm that I need to sand, so it's not that much.
It works great for sanding, there is also the giraffe sander, but if you're only doing 1 ceiling, it's probably overkill.
Is the sanding tool better than the orbital sander then?sir_daniel said:
An orbital sander is something you must have at home so I have to buy a new one anyway, but if the sanding tool does the job better, I'll buy one of those too.
