Hello
I am "renovating" my patio. I am going to replace the rails for the fence (45/70). They are exactly the same length as the old ones that have "rotted" somewhat. But I can't get them in place. It feels like they are too long? Is there any trick here?

Feels like they are too long, are they or aren't they if you measure?J Jim Holmblad said:
I think 1-2mm too short for beams on a deck is within a reasonable margin of error for a deck in any case.
Sometimes you can tap in, for example, a kortling between two beams if we're talking about a few mm too much.
