Hello!
We submitted an application for a building permit for our '40s funkis-style house. We want to change and relocate windows + plaster the facade. Unfortunately, we (not yet by the building committee) received a rejection because the city's museums commented that the house should be preserved (according to PBL 3 chapter 12§). This will be contested to the bitter end, but I am considering alternatives in case we are not successful.
The facade is very ugly and heavily worn. There are paint spills, broken joints, cracked bricks, etc. It simply must be rejuvenated. One way to do what we want while still preserving the appearance seems to be to use, for example, Stofix (
http://www.stofix.se/tegelfasad.html). In this way, we can cover the existing facade with a faux brick and also add 30-250mm of insulation.
Anyone used this product or something similar? Experiences?
Edit: Perhaps this should be in the forum section Facade...
