I lack a place to do woodworking as everything is scattered today. I have the machines in our barn where a few years ago I simply built a floor.
My current consideration is whether I can let the new joist system rest on the ground as I believe everything is stable. The difficulty lies in if I screw everything together and it moves, it is just as bad since the post will move more or less against the barn with the stone foundation.

Attached is a simple sketch:

Hand-drawn sketch of a workshop floor plan with labeled sections: wooden floor, wood beam with insulation, wood beam, and leca blocks, indicating structure layers.

What do you think, forum gods etc.?

Something like this is what I imagine the workshop will look like later:

3D sketch of a proposed woodworking shop layout with tools, workbenches, and storage areas.
