Hello,

I am in the process of enclosing a balcony as I am going to adopt a cat and the animal shelter requires this. I've looked around the internet for different methods but haven't found anything that really works for my situation.

I cannot drill into the walls for net fastenings.

My balcony has an uneven ceiling height, ranging from 265 to 275 cm. Because of this, building wooden frames feels unnecessarily complicated.

I saw others who managed to tension poles between the floor and ceiling, which seemed convenient. The tricky part is just finding poles that are long enough. I found poles at Jula in lengths where two poles are enough, but for it to work, I need something to tension between the poles to make it stable. A hose clamp feels a little too weak; is there another suitable thing I can use that I am not aware of?

Or is there any of you who are a bit more experienced in construction who have a simpler/better solution that an not-so-handy person can manage?

Thanks in advance!

What you call posts can just as easily be a 45x45 rule. Available in lengths up to 5 meters at most hardware stores.
