NASA insulation and other unusual insulation types

hi, so I'm watching Grand Design and sometimes you see them using some sort of metal insulation that was developed by NASA, and I'm wondering where you can buy it?

the insulation looks like 1cm thick foil and 1cm has the same "insulating power" as 30cm mineral wool.

also, if you have any new or unusual types of insulation, please post them!

But actually it's like 0.1mm foil with something else that looks like foam in the middle. (I have held a piece in my hand )

The topic has been discussed here on the site before and the conclusion was that this type of insulation is not as effective in houses as it is in space.

Essentially, it is worthless but of course not according to those who sell it.

Not 30 times better, but more than twice as good as mineral wool is stated. Furthermore, it is much more than twice as expensive.
