I have a wall in the staircase that I will cover with renovation plasterboard where the upper part of the wall consists of drywall and the lower part of plastered brick. The entire wall is smooth and homogeneous. Screw in the upper part and nail in the lower? Or should I screw in the upper and glue in the lower?

Hello!
Screw in the upper and glue in the lower + possibly try to nail in some nail so that the board stays until the glue has set.
Nail gun in a brick wall is not a good combination, it can end badly.

Great!
Now I know that. Initially, I had planned to do wide puttying, but after an entire upper floor, I got tired of it, and a staircase is also quite tricky to balance in with a ladder.

Thanks for the help!
