I am going to install ceiling paneling, 120x 13mm or 15mm depending on which one I choose. The ceiling is battened with 28x70 cc 30 in the same direction as the paneling will be mounted. (It was originally meant for drywall).
My question then is whether it is enough to place 12x50 battens in the other direction at 60cc? Or do I need to go up to 22x45? I can't imagine so. But it would be unfortunate if it started to sag.
There will be nothing resting on the paneling, as the insulation lies on top of the existing battens.
