I am in the process of planning my dream garage.
I realize that I need advice regarding the trusses.
The width of the gable wall is 13.5 meters, roof pitch 22 degrees, which in my world means that the legs of the truss would be about 8 meters long each......
The roof will be 18 meters long, so a roof area of about 280 square meters.
So: I need suggestions on material or technique choices regarding the long truss legs.
Everything can be bought, but is there a smart cost-effective solution .....?

Isn't it most reasonable to order ready-made roof trusses and let them handle all the problems?
With regular roof trusses, there is no problem with splicing if it's done in the right way and in the right place.
