Hello, I have received a Royal System shelf system in teak, four sections. I want it on a wall made of 9 cm thick lecablock. Behind it, there's a small air gap and then a porous clay wall that cannot be screwed into. Is it possible without the entire wall collapsing? How should I attach it?

Thank you. No studying?

I would also recommend light concrete screws. When I compared them for mounting a TV arm on a light concrete wall, they can handle at least as large loads as plugs and screws. Easier to screw directly into the wall instead of drilling, plugging, and screwing. I started a separate thread about it:

Essve has lots of different dimensions. The longest screw possible without screwing through the wall is best. I assume you are going to mount long wall rails and then it's not as critical as my TV arm project.

Yes, the long rails to which the different cabinets, drawers, and shelves are attached. Thank you for the information that the screw should not go all the way through the wall.

What speaks in favor of plugs and screws is if you want a specific type of screw (e.g., brass or shiny stainless) to match other details.

Oops, you're right... The other metal is brass on the shelf.
