Hello!
Everything is completed except for the floor moldings; one side of the room has a longer "värmekabel" that goes to the radiators (Image 1 & Image 2).

This means that regular moldings like these (see link below) can't be installed on one side, and to make it uniform, I have acquired two different white moldings to mount one on top of the other (Image 3 & Image 4).

In hindsight, when I have cut the moldings to get a clear picture of the result, there will be gaps between the moldings and the electrical outlets/internet outlet (Image 3).

How should I cut one side of the moldings (the width) when it's not working with my BOSCH PCM 8 S machine, where I'm trying to get it as straight as possible?

  • Room with laminate flooring, white baseboards along the wall, radiator with exposed heating pipe, and wooden planks arranged on the floor.
  • Room corner with wooden flooring, exposed pipes along the wall, and a radiator valve. Missing baseboards highlight unfinished edging.
  • White baseboard partially installed near a CAT.6 wall outlet, with a visible gap between the baseboard and outlet. A finger is pointing at the baseboard.
  • White baseboards and a CAT.6 socket with a visible gap between the baseboards and the outlet on a wooden floor.
I would probably choose wider moldings with some type of groove/chamfer to accommodate the "värmekabeln". There are certainly ready-made moldings for this purpose? Otherwise, you'll have to make it yourself.

As for the network socket, can't you simply move it up so it ends up above the molding?

Hello Klabbaparn! The moldings are very wide and fit the elements (measured these), but they are only on one side of the room. As for the power outlets, it's more relevant because it won't be a neat solution as they are too broad.

You can't see it in the picture, but the internet outlet is exactly at the same height as the power outlet, so that was my first thought too, but then it comes above the power outlets (won't be the same height)...
