Mount monitor arm on aerated concrete wall?
I am going to attach a flexible arm that holds a screen weighing about 7 kg to a wall of aerated concrete, but the question is what kind of screws and possible plugs or chemical anchors to use?
I am considering first attaching the arm to a board that can then be attached to the wall with more screws at longer intervals than those directly on the arm to distribute the load...

Tried many options and found that these work best. Drill with a metal drill bit, and if it says 12mm drill, try with 11 first and see if it's possible to insert the plug. The right thickness of the screw, and it will hold well then.Amatörsnickaren said:
