Hello!
I'm planning to install a mirror glass that goes from floor to ceiling on a wall in the hallway. The wall area the mirror will cover is 2500x1300 mm (height x width). A few questions:

1. How much "allowance" do I need to fit the mirror? Is 10 mm enough? 20 mm?
2. Most suppliers seem to have 4mm and 6mm thick mirrors, is 4mm sufficient or will it be too thin and "flexible"?
3. What’s the best way to mount it? I prefer not to use clips or visible mounts, would strong mounting adhesive work?

Grateful for all the help!

Glue works excellently.

If you have an even and smooth wall, it works to glue up a 4mm mirror. Personally, I wouldn't dare to just glue such a large mirror. The consequences if it falls on someone are too great. It also needs a safety film on the back. The best way to mount it is with a J-list like this one https://www.proffsmagasinet.se/vvs-...fo-42585-spegellist-for-badrum-750-mm-3085802 A glazier should have them in long pieces that are cut to the right measurements.

One disadvantage of gluing the mirror is that sooner or later it needs to be removed from the wall.

Put on hockey gear and a crowbar 😂
