How do you easily make a 45-degree cut on a board that is angled? The only thing I can think of is measuring the angle with a bevel gauge and propping it up at the same angle in the miter saw, but there should be a smarter way...

  • A weathered board measuring 45 degrees with a protractor against a concrete surface. The board appears chipped and worn, suggesting outdoor use.
Can't do it in my head, but it's called "compound miter cut" in English, so search for that and tons of suggestions on how to calculate it will come up :)
