I am in the process of installing horizontal beadboard in an upstairs bedroom where all the rooms have sloped ceilings + horizontal ceilings. I started from the bottom (i.e., at the lowest part of the sloped ceiling) and will need to rip the last board in the sloped ceiling lengthwise before the horizontal ceiling starts. Given this, and that I (presumably?) should leave a gap at the transition to allow the wood to move, I assume it would look best to place a molding at the transition? Does anyone have a good tip on the type of molding?
