this is something I've been thinking about for a while...
I've been thinking about making a mold, which is round in shape, like a half-sphere with a bottom.
can you make the form by digging a hole as big as it should be, make a form roughly in oil-hardened masonite, and then fill it (?)
then you pour casting into the hole...

anything that shouldn't work?

Check out neoform (?) I think that's what it's called? Plastic form that you can cast in:
(Otherwise, regular ground fabric will probably do just fine... )
* Dig a hole in the ground in the shape you want
* Lay in the fabric
* Reinforce
* Cast

I usually take a plastic bag/trash bag
