Hello!

I have gotten hold of moisture-resistant floor chipboard p5/p6 "green" variant (SPAANDEX UNIPAN K-FLOOR P5/P6) for a cheap price.

In their instructions, this is meant to be used in unheated spaces that can be temporarily damp.
Are there any downsides to using this floor chipboard instead of regular chipboard in regular rooms?
They are to be installed on an upper floor that will be living space.

Regards// Markus

It is quite common to use such boards when assembling houses and the joist. This is to withstand moisture if the weather is not so good...
So it should just work.
