Hello!
I'm helping my dad finish an extension that was started many years ago on his summer cottage.
The control plan states that a moisture measurement protocol should be attached. Such a protocol has not been prepared. Since it's about a structure that has been standing for almost 10 years (extended building permit), and a cottage that I will continue to manage when my dad can't anymore, I have no problem "recreating" my own protocol. The carpenter who helped us also pointed out that the structure was standing with open walls for over 6 months, so any construction moisture has definitely dried out.
So I wonder if anyone has an example of a moisture measurement that I can "borrow"
It feels like the requirements vary a bit with the documents needed. I'm working on a significantly more complex extension in my own house. There, moisture safety planning was required before construction started, but nothing for the final approval.
