Moisture barrier under tiles in basement floor?
Should I have moisture barrier under tile around the area of the heat pump?
I am going to lay tile in the basement. I was thinking of skipping the moisture barrier in the larger part and only have it where necessary, i.e., in a wet room and possibly under the heat pump. Next to the heat pump, there is a floor heating distributor and a small workshop.
I estimate that water might leak onto the floor from the heat pump during installation but then a maximum of once a year.
Under the tile, there is 150 mm of concrete, 100 mm of Styrofoam, a vapor barrier (which follows the concrete up and comes up over the concrete edge), and another 100 mm of Styrofoam as well as capillary-breaking material.

Another consideration is how I should lay tile between the basement wall and the concrete slab. Should the tile be laid out over the Styrofoam? Important not to load all the way at the back...
The basement is lowered and next to/outside the concrete slab there is natural rock that can be both cold and damp.
Yes, not in accordance with how to build if everything is new from the start, but that’s how it can be when the house was built 100 years ago and I have now lowered the basement floor, drained, insulated, and poured a new slab in the basement. Indeed, I would have liked to remove the basement walls and the rest of the house and build new as it should be, but that would have been too much work.
Inside the basement wall, I placed 5 cm of Styrofoam as a form before casting, so I at least have 5 cm of space between the Styrofoam under the concrete and the basement wall.
Where should the tile end and how do I seal between the tile and the rock wall, which is the basement wall?
My idea is to fill the space between the outer wall and the concrete with foam and then let the tile be cut to fit so it goes up to the rock and grout the last centimeter against the rock wall.

According to what I have read both here and elsewhere, the basement should only be waterproofed where the floor/wall is exposed to water daily. That is, at the shower; the rest of the bathroom doesn't need waterproofing. So I would probably say no at your heat pump. There won't be water standing on the floor every day, will there?

Maybe it's the case that the standard rules should be used with waterproofing on the entire floor with a 5 cm turn-up against the walls?
